A single ribbon of aluminium, twisted into a spiral and lit along its inner edge. From the front Helix reads as a line of light; from the side it almost disappears. It is a sculptural object that happens to be a lamp.

Ten brightness levels and three colour temperatures mean it works as a task light over a desk at midday and as a low amber glow at eleven at night. The touch strip runs down the base — one press to wake, hold to dim.
