FAQ
Quick answers to everything our customers ask most — and if you can't find it here, contact us and we'll reply within 1–2 business days.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
Typical US delivery is 7–14 days from the day you order. Every order ships with tracking, and we email your tracking number the moment it's dispatched so you can follow it the whole way.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders of $75 or more. Below that, your exact rate is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay — no surprises.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes — every order ships with tracking, and we email it to you at dispatch. If you haven't received it, check your spam folder first, then contact us and we'll resend it.
Do you ship internationally?
Available destinations and rates are shown at checkout — just enter your address and you'll see your options before paying. If your country doesn't appear, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Reach out via our contact form as soon as possible and we'll do our best to catch it before dispatch. If it has already shipped, don't worry — you're fully covered by our 60-day money-back guarantee.
My order hasn't arrived yet — what should I do?
First check the tracking link from your dispatch email — most US orders arrive within 7–14 days. If you're outside that window or the tracking looks stuck, contact us and we'll chase it down; we typically reply within 1–2 business days.
Will everything in my order arrive in one package?
Not always — depending on what you order, items can arrive in separate packages a few days apart. Every shipment is tracked, so if part of your order arrives first, the rest is on its way.
Returns & 60-Day Guarantee
How does the 60-day money-back guarantee work?
If you're not happy for any reason, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we'll take the item back as long as it's in resalable condition. Once your return is in transit with tracking, we issue your refund — you don't have to wait for the package to arrive back to us.
How do I start a return?
Just send us a message through the contact form with your order number and we'll reply with instructions, typically within 1–2 business days. No forms to print, no hoops to jump through.
My item arrived damaged or isn't working — what now?
Send us a quick photo of the damage or defect via the contact form and we'll ship a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. In most cases you won't need to return anything unless we specifically ask.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the item is damaged or defective, you usually don't need to send anything back at all. For change-of-mind returns, you cover the return postage — and your refund is issued as soon as the return is in transit with tracking.
Can I return window film I've already cut to size?
Cut trim-to-size film can only be returned if it's defective, since we can't resell it. Our tip: hold the roll up to your window and double-check measurements before you trim — uncut film in resalable condition is fully covered by the 60-day guarantee.
What counts as "resalable condition"?
Essentially: the item is complete and in a condition we could honestly sell to the next customer. Trying a product out is fine — the main exception is trim-to-size film that has been cut, which is only returnable if defective.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
Absolutely — contact us and tell us what you'd rather have (a different size, color, or product) and we'll sort out the swap under the same 60-day guarantee. If your item arrived damaged or defective, a photo is all we need to send a replacement.
Discounts & Payment
How does the bundle discount work?
Add any 2 items to your cart and 15% comes off automatically at checkout; any 3 or more items and it becomes 25% off. There's no code to remember — the discount applies itself.
Can I mix and match different products in a bundle?
Yes — any products count toward the bundle. A Notte curtain plus a Luna night light is 15% off; add a Scudo car shade and the whole cart jumps to 25% off.
Do you have a first-order discount?
Yes — sign up through the email popup and you'll get WELCOME10 for 10% off your first order. It's valid once per customer, so save it for something you love.
Can I combine WELCOME10 with the bundle discount?
No — WELCOME10 doesn't stack with other discounts, including the automatic bundle discount. If you're buying two or more items, the bundle pricing usually works out better anyway; WELCOME10 shines on single-item first orders.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major cards and digital wallets — the full list for your region is shown right at checkout. Pick whichever is easiest for you.
My discount didn't apply — what should I check?
For the bundle discount, make sure you have at least 2 items in the cart — it applies automatically with no code. For WELCOME10, remember it works once per customer and can't be combined with other discounts. Still stuck? Contact us and we'll make it right.
Blackout & Privacy Film
What's the difference between Buio and Tinta blackout film?
I'm renting — which film should I get?
Is blackout film safe for double-pane windows?
How do I install Buio?
Trim it to size with ordinary household scissors, spray the glass with soapy water, position the film, and smooth it flat with a squeegee. No adhesive, no tools, no experience needed — and it comes in 10 roll sizes so you can cover anything from a bathroom pane to a patio door.
Can I remove Buio and use it again later?
Yes — because it's static-cling, Buio peels off without residue and can be reapplied. Great for night-shift sleepers who want darkness in summer and daylight back in winter.
Does the Miro mirror film work at night?
Honest answer: no. Miro mirrors whichever side is brighter, so it gives excellent privacy during the day — but after dark, with your interior lights on, the effect reverses and people can see in. Pair it with blinds or curtains for nighttime privacy.
Does Miro help with heat and UV?
Yes — alongside daytime privacy, Miro blocks UV and cuts solar heat coming through the glass, which is a real help for sun-baked rooms and fading furniture. It trims to size and comes in silver, brown, and blue-silver finishes.
What if I cut my film wrong?
Measure twice, cut once — cut film can only be returned if it's defective. If you're between roll sizes, size up so you have margin to trim, and contact us before cutting if you want a second opinion on measurements.
Blackout Curtains & Travel
How does the Notte curtain attach — do I need to drill?
No drilling, no rods, no hardware. Notte mounts with a velcro perimeter that seals the fabric edge-to-edge around the window, so it goes up in minutes and comes down just as fast.
Is Notte really 100% blackout?
Yes — the fabric itself is 100% blackout, and because the velcro perimeter seals edge-to-edge, you don't get the light halo that ordinary curtains leak around their sides. It's built for shift workers, nurseries, and anyone who sleeps while the sun is up.
How do I know which size to order?
Measure the glass, not the frame — that's the single most common sizing mistake. Notte comes in many sizes, so match your glass measurements to the size chart on the product page, and ask us if your window falls between sizes.
Can I take Notte traveling?
That's half the point — it folds flat, so it packs into a suitcase for hotel rooms, grandparents' houses, and anywhere your baby (or you) needs to sleep in a bright room. Set it up in minutes, peel it down when you leave.
Should I get the Notte curtain or Buio film?
Can I put Notte up and take it down every day?
Yes — the velcro mount is designed for repeated use, so daytime sleepers can seal the room before bed and let the light back in afterwards. When it's down, it folds flat for storage.
Car Window Shades
How do Scudo and Ombra shades attach to the window?
They snap magnetically onto the metal window frame — on in seconds, off in seconds. No suction cups, which is deliberate: suction cups are exactly what fails and falls off in summer heat.
Will they fit my car?
Both Scudo and Ombra are universal-fit for standard side windows across most makes and models. One thing to check: the magnets need a metal window frame to grip, so if your frame is unusual, send us your car model and we'll confirm.
Is it safe (and legal) to drive with the shades on?
Use them on rear side windows while driving — never on the driver's or front passenger's windows or the windshield when the car is moving, as your visibility always comes first. Front windows are fine to cover while parked, and it's worth knowing your local rules for anything beyond that.
Do they actually keep the car cooler?
Yes — they cut both UV coming through the glass and the cabin heat that builds up in the sun. That means a more comfortable back seat for kids and pets and less glare on long drives.
Are these good for babies and kids in the back seat?
That's the most common way they're used — the shades cut UV and heat on the rear side windows where car seats live. Because they grip magnetically instead of by suction, they don't drop off onto your little one when the car warms up.
Can I buy a shade for just one window?
How do I store the shades when I'm not using them?
They fold flat, so they slip into a seat-back pocket, door pocket, or glove box between trips. Snap them back on in seconds when the sun comes out.
Lamps & Night Lights
Do your lamps need special bulbs?
Almost all of our lamps use integrated LEDs, so there's nothing extra to buy and no bulbs to replace. The Otto glass lamp is the exception with actual bulbs — and its LED bulbs are included in the box, running on safe 5V low voltage.
Are the lamps cordless?
Most of our lighting range is USB-rechargeable, so once charged there's no cord tying it to an outlet; a few designs run continuously on USB power instead. Each product page states which type it is, plus one golden rule for rechargeables: give it a full charge before first use.
Does the Luna night light come with batteries?
The Luna is battery-powered, and batteries are not included — so grab a set when you order to avoid a disappointed bedtime. Battery power is what lets it sit anywhere in a kid's room with no cable to tug.
How do I dim the lamps?
Depending on the design, dimming is either touch-controlled or via a rotary dial — each product page tells you which. Either way, no app or smart-home setup is required.
Can I change the light color or warmth?
Several of our designs, including the Fungo and Helix, offer multiple colour temperatures so you can go from crisp task light to a warm evening glow. Browse the lighting collection and check each product page for its exact options.
How long does a charge last?
It varies by lamp and by the brightness you run it at, so check the specific product page for runtime details. Two tips that apply to all of them: charge fully before first use, and dimmer settings stretch the battery furthest.
Can I mount the Anello lamp without an electrician?
Yes — the Anello wall-mounts with no wiring at all because it's rechargeable. That makes it perfect for renters and for spots like hallways and bedsides where there's no outlet nearby.
